Does anyone actually make money as an Ice Cream Man?

... or are they a secret society of child molesters or retired WalMart greeters? Not that there is anything wrong with that... being a WalMart greeter... I was watching as the Ice Cream Man drove through my cul-de-sac yesterday, and thought, ';Damn, should *I* get into the business?'; Experienced thoughts and answers preferred! :)
